The linear exponential distribution is a generalization of the and Rayleigh distributions. This one best models to fit data with increasing failure rate (IFR). But it does not provide reasonable for modeling decreasing (DFR) bathtub shaped (BTFR). To overcome this drawback, we propose new record-based transmuted generalized (RTGLE) by using technique Balakrishnan He. family RTGLE distributions more flexible sets IFR, DFR, BTFR, also generalizes several well-known as well some models. paper aims study statistical properties distribution, like, shape probability density function hazard function, quantile its applications, moments generating order record statistics, Rényi entropy. maximum likelihood estimators, least squares weighted Anderson-Darling Cramér-von Mises estimators unknown parameters are constructed their biases mean squared errors reported via Monte Carlo simulation study. Finally, real illustrate goodness applicability proposed distribution; hence, suitable recommendations forwarded.
